Job Description :

The Customer IT Specialist - China will report directly to Head of IT and Business Solutions - China, mainly responsible for flawless implementation of assigned customer IT projects.


Responsibilities :

1.  Customer IT Specialist Function – Primary

    The Customer IT Specialist will be responsible for understanding and compiling customer IT needs, acting as a subject matter expert with the ability to work directly with customers and partners on execution of IT services, and leading successful IT service delivery

  • Ensure sold IT solutions (TMS, WMS, SCM, POM, Real Time, EDI, etc.) are accurately set up, launched, and delivered on time
  • Align with Blue Net, Global Operations Processes, and other functional teams to achieve simulation, development, and implementation of IT solutions
  • Work cohesively with Sales to address IT obstacles that hinder business development
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction for processes, data integrity and precision
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, provide appropriate training and system demos, and explain technical concepts and solutions to non-technical users
  • Work directly with Blue Net and Global Operations Processes to troubleshoot customer reported IT issues and complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations.


2. Business Intelligence (SAC) Analyst Function – Secondary

    The Business Intelligence (SAC) Analyst will transform data into insights that drive business value. Through use of data analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques and technologies, the BI (SAC) analyst will identify trends that can help Sales, Operations, Finance and Management make business decisions to optimize and improve processes in the organization.

  • Review and validate commercial, financial and operational data to identify anomalies and ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
  • Develop policies and procedures for data collection and analysis
  • Oversee and execute data deployment
  • Monitor results of analytics and metrics
  • Create SAC data visualization dashboards


3. Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality


4. Travel moderately as necessary


5. Perform other duties as assigned



Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or related field, or 5 years of experience equivalent to the position
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional manner
  3. Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills, with a track record of working as one team cross-organizationally to drive implementation of customer IT solutions
  4. Experience with project delivery practices, including TMS, WMS, POM and BI
  5. Ability to recommend and demonstrate IT solutions to support complex business requirements.
  6. Independently apply technical knowledge and considerable discretion to evaluate and resolve complex tasks for customers
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  8. Basic understanding of Business Intelligence tools (SAC, Power BI, QlikView, Tableau and etc.) desired.
  9. Ability to quickly adapt and learn BI Company, Branch and Department practices
