Job Title: Manager, Sourcing


PRIMARY FUNCTION

Achieves financial goals and objectives by partnering with HQ counterparts and business partners. Coaches and manages team to ensure program goals and objectives are met. Responsible for managing vendors, program execution and information on product trends and business opportunities.

· Reports to Director/MD

· Works with global/local sourcing teams, cross functional teams and HQ counterparts; all related

business partners and their supply chains


Minimum Requirements:

· 4 year University degree or equivalent

· 6 - 9 years proven sourcing, merchandising and/or retail experience

· Excellent communication skills in English and local office language

· Demonstrated leadership skills

· Knowledge of US retail industry

· Strong problem solving, negotiations, planning and organizational skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Result-oriented, self-motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic

· Committed to continuous learning

· Ability to travel locally and internationally



Desired Requirements:

· Experience working for U.S. retailer

· Technical knowledge of assigned product categories

· Eligible to work in designated country without sponsorship

· Experience with trading or buying office

· Experience working with culturally diverse team members

Market knowledge of assigned geographic areas
