Responsibilities:
Plant Start up:
Actively participate in BIG project team;
Build up in depth relationship with local government;
Together with commercial responsible, build up customer base;
Ensure necessary permits and encouraged status are obtained;
Build up local team;
Search of reliable suppliers.

Plant Operational:
Determine clear yearly production targets for e.g.output, efficiency, raw material yield, ECT;
Control the day to day production by frequent presence on the shop floor, by organizing management meeting, by analyzing reports on output & qualitiy, and propose and execute actions for improvement;
Manages production processed with the objective of achieving transformation cost, quality, service and time to market targets;
Make the final decision on sourcing, purchasing and accepting raw materials, spares and consumables;
Manages plant logistics, scheduling and procurement processes in line with division management guidelines and instructions;
Develops and defends investment proposals for investments at plant level in execution of Division strategy;
Uses financial and operational management reports to identify and act upon areas for improvement together with financial controllers;
Manages the management reporting (OPERA) processes in order to achieve the objective of producing relevant and reliable information as efficiently as possible;
Responsible for achieving OPERA objectives;
Ensure that safe working practices are followed within the plant as well as compliance with all corporate and local regulations;
Be strongly involved in commercial activities and play a pivotal role in product development;
Maintain close relationship with local government and customers;
Together with Division management, develop strategic plans for product development and investment policy.


Qualifications:
Education and years of experience:
Master.
Minimum of 10 years production management experience.
Relevant experience in an international function is a strong plus.
