Responsibilities
Generate new business with assigned Oil & Gas clients and targets in line with the sales plan.
Secure existing Panalpina business by assuring Panalpina reliability and increasing customer satisfaction
Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of customers' request for quotation and / or request for information.
Work together with O & G operations managers to implement concepts / solutions as proposed and approved by customers; Follow through till project stabilizes before handing over to operations
Conduct sales calls, makes presentation, provide product support and performs other marketing and marketing functions as needed by existing or potential customers
Build up / improve customer relationship on an area and local basis with the use of available Panalpina resources in the different countries.
Build up a strong business relationship with customers and create awareness of Panalpina within the customers organization and vice versa
Build up industry knowledge and create awareness of the allocated customer and the customers industry within the Panalpina group
Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Higher educational level (business administration, economics, logistics)
Working experience (minimum 5 years)
Industry experience (minimum 3 years)
Management experience (minimum 2 years)
Preferably international working experience
