Job Scope

• Main Target Summary

- Application inquisitive to seek projects with SBU (Strategic Business Unit) which lead to new project acquisition in existing and new areas that fall within MT competencies.

- Increase sales and market share of the MT business through defining new products / applications / segments

- Major contributor towards MT’s organic growth strategy

- Fill new product pipeline and win projects to ensure future growth

- Provide MRD (Marketing Requirement Document ) to MT internal teams

• Job Basics

- High degree of knowledge in chemical and / or electronics / mechatronics 

- Good understanding of instrument / automation / electronics Applications and Systems

- Basic knowledge in business administration 

- Instrument business experience preferred

- Professional communication & presentation skill with fluent English

• Job Description

- Ability to build internal/external customer relationship 

- Execute business growth strategy

- Acquisition of new projects at existing & new segments / applications

- Translate the voice of customer into product requirements & specification

- Work in close cooperation with the sales / marketing and engineering teams

- Identification of new technology or application trends in the market place

- Ability to create ideas to generate an advantage for MT in the marketing

- Strong team player with good communication skills

- Professional presentation of the MT portfolio

- Responsible to lead the cross functional MT team through the process from product identification to  market launch 

- Support segments, applications and competitor market analysis

• Professional handling with knowledge & necessary tools:

- MS Office 

- PLM process

- SAP

- Cost Calculation Sheet / NPV sheet

- Lean product development 

Requirements for a typical Job Holder / Applicant

• Educational Degree: University Degree or Master in Engineering
• Professional Experience  (years in what processes and functions would be ideal)：

- 3+ years' experience in instruments, chemicals, electronics, mechatronics, marketing, business development

• Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

- Strong capability to turn customer needs into a business opportunities

- Ability to manage or work with a cross functional team in a matrix organization

- Technical knowledge about instrument, mechatronics, automation or electronics

- Good understanding about cost and invest structures 

- Innovative thinker and problem solver. Willingness to push for better solutions

- Professional English in written and verbal form

- Business Acumen within the instrument business environment
