Job Title: Construction Manager

Company: Vopak Logistics (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.

Location: Qingdao

Report to: Project Manager



Job Function:

·Lead construction team to ensure Contractor's Construction to work fully comply with SHEQ Policy in construction phase.

·Co-operate with engineering, procurement, QC and project control team to coordinate site construction issues.

·Monitor contractor's resource, payment issues and finished work schedule according to approved project plan timely.

·Responsible for the construction interface management for different packages /projects

·Responsible for the construction of Jetty marine work package, coordinate with other packages.

·Review supervisory company's work and report

·Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly project highlights to project manager.

·Support the permitting coordinator and contractor to obtain construction and operation permits of project issued by Local Authorities.

·Manage issues of change orders to minimize the impact to project on cost and schedule aspects of project..

·To finish the task assigned by Company management.



Job requirements:

Education and Experience:

·Major in Major in Chemical engineering or Mechanic, or relevant engineering.

·5+ years construction management experience in Chemical or Petrochemical industry, especially in chemical or oil storage facility.

·Familiar with relevant national and local construction laws and regulation.

·Good verbal and written communication skill, both in English and Mandarin.

·Skilled in office PC application programs, especially in Auto-cad.
