职位描述
Key responsibilities:
1.Take accountability for all yield related loss and develop a phased plan to stabilize, improve, and revolutionize cost of yield.
2.This includes driving both product design and process design improvements.
3.Create the technical visions for and provide program management oversight to improve yield related manufacturing costs across all our manufacturing lines. Track and monitor the effectiveness of the programs and provide course corrections as needed.
4.Tackle rework costs and rework flow time and make the rework process as quick and efficient as possible. Reduce labor costs associated with rework.
5.Partner with RD teams to ensure best design and process practices incorporated into new products.
6.Key player in the life cycle gate reviews as part of the NPI team: product design reviews (for DFM concerns), manufacturing process reviews
7.Grow and develop engineering team including mentorship to existing managers and identification of star performers.
8.Provide strong technical guidance and to engineering managers. Take responsibility for the technical response , quality of solutions proposed by manufacturing engineering team, and the implementation
Qualifications:
1.M.S. in electrical engineering, optoelectronics, applied physics, or related field.
2.Minimum 8 years of work experience, 3 + years of experience in management role. Experience in active optical devices is required.
3.Mastery of optical transceiver knowledge from both product design and manufacturing process perspective. R&D background preferred.
4.Good understanding of transceiver testing systems. Knowledge of testing software will be a big plus.
5.Proven background in developing and implementing product and process improvements.
6.Require strong leadership and ability to work under pressure.
7.Good written and oral English communication skill required.
