Job description:
* Work together with the General Manager(Foreigner) and the head office to develop, implement and follow up the purchasing plan for wicker lounge furniture.
* Source new factories and products in China
* Work actively with evaluation and development of existing as well as new suppliers
* Receive, translate, place and follow orders
* Visit the suppliers regularly to solve production problems and maintain a positive relationship
* Plan for buyer visits and accompany buyers visiting suppliers and factories.
* Daily Communication with buyer
* Work with price and quotation management
* Coordinate the contract and businesses term negotiation with suppliers and factories
* Manage the Quality Controller within his/her area
* Arrange testing of the products and ensure the needed certificates are in place
* Make sure delivery times are punctual and quality standards reached
* Arrange for export
* Settle claims

Requirements:
* University degree preferably in Foreign Trade or Technical Engineering
* Extensive experience in the merchandising of Outdoor Furniture & Weather Protection
* Familiar with the regional supplier base
* Strong sourcing abilities and skills
* Good technical knowledge of wicker very important
* Good English and good with complicated excel quotation sheets
* Strong negotiator
* Able to work independently
* Experience from working closely with overseas buyers
* Customer focused and service oriented
* Able to work under pressure and with tight dead-lines
* Good command of written and spoken English
