Role Purpose:

To oversee regional Finance reporting including:

· Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for APAC region

· Reconciliation & liaison with CoE Finance and APAC FBPs

· Monthly regional P&L reporting, dashboard, local P&L reporting

· Regional governance including cost variance analysis, headcount tracking

· Prepare PowerPoint slides with some bullet-point root variance analysis

· Ad-hoc analysis on key variance items

To ensure that regional reporting is timely and accurate

To identify variances and risks within the APAC region from the prepared reports.

Key Accountabilities

· Deliver daily/weekly sales and order & monthly regional reports

· Co-ordinate and process forecasts and budget data accurately and timely for APAC

· Create reporting models and automate reporting work as much as possible

· Identify opportunities to improve reporting preparation to shorten the report creating time and increase report accuracy

· Prepare monthly reporting PPT packs in the formats including but not limited to PPT and PDF

· Prepare ad-hoc analysis in presentation slides and highlight key issues and reasons for variance items

· Identify and investigate any sales/cost/headcount variances arising in the region, propose action to address these to ensure that the region delivers budget.

· Undertake reconciliations between region and Corporate Finance division to ensure accuracy and transparency of regional reporting

· Liaise with global divisions and APAC leadership team to ensure full visibility of regional financials

Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to combine reports.

Essential:

• ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent; in-depth understanding of full financial statements
• Significant experience working in a multi-market role within a global organisation
• Exceptional technical skills with Excel, BI, Business Objects, financial reporting systems such as Hyperion or OneStream, and Power point
• Strong capability in creating reports and dashboards from scratch, interrogate data and conduct simple statistical analysis
• Experience in report automation; language skill in VBA or Python preferred
• Experience managing and co-ordinating matters within a matrix structure
• Detailed-oriented and able to prepare reports quickly without error

· Strong communication skill and culturally sensitive with proven ability to operate in a regional role and build effective working relationships across geographies and cultures

· Positive attitude and work well under pressure to tight deadlines; ability to multitask and work efficiently

· Excellent communication skills at all levels

· Experience in adopting and embedding good practice from other organisations

· Fluent in English language

Desirable:

· European or Asian language skills
