JOB SUMMARY

Maintain the DDC/BAS (direct digital control/building management) systems site-wide. Monitor HVAC and Life Safety Systems performance site-wide.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily hot/cold trouble calls to ensure guest/team member comfort while maintaining maximum energy efficiency and system performance. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC DDC/BAS hardware system components to ensure efficient operation. Perform installation, repair, or replacement of DDC/BAS hardware control systems. Direct and oversee BAS team daily job.

• Maintain DDC/BAS systems, fire alarm life safety systems, security systems and facilities access systems site-wide. Perform system monitoring and trending, troubleshooting, and program changes to the DDC/BAS systems as required and coordinates with third party contractors/vendors for more extensive modifications.

• Perform building fire alarm inspection and testing in accordance with GB code requirements. Perform fire alarm and associated system maintenance per Maximo PM Schedule. Support third party contractors/vendors as needed.

• Identify and perform approved system program changes and upgrades to ensure maximum system performance and ensure maximum energy conservation to systems site-wide. Communicate system changes to Utilities and respective departments.

• Support all UBR internal customers with BAS requests as needed.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UBR policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

  
  

  QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 8 years’ electronic systems and control technician experience is required. Computer experience is required.

• Honeywell FAS system acknowledge preferred.

• Minimum 2 years’ theme park experience is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  
  

  EDUCATION

  Technical School and above.

  
  

  CERTIFICATIONS:

  Driver License Required.

  (EPA) Universal Refrigerant Certificate is preferred.

  A certificate of completion from an Electronics Training Course or advanced DDC Controls Class is preferred.

  A State or County Journeyman’s HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing License or State Certified Contractor’s HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing License is preferred.
