MAJOR DUTIES AND RESULTS:

    

1. Develop and implement comprehensive formal classroom and on the job training tailored to the specialty of trainees.
2. Perform the specialized technical training and give classroom lessons.
3. Define and monitor hands on field execises and issue safety instruction.
4. Prepare lesson plans and issue training schedules and other training activities.
5. Assists in the development of training materials.
6. Develop procedures and methods to quantify progress and evaluate quality of training.
7. Assist in review and evaluation of prospective employee for plant assignments.  Define testing and certification procedures for specialized training.
8. Evaluate the trainees to ensure satisfactory technical levels are obtained and report discontinuity of poor trainees to the Training Manager.
9. Coordinate training with discipline's requirements to ensure programs provide adequate skills training.
10. Recommend procedural or policy changes to improve training effectiveness.
11. Prepare training budget and ensures compliance.
12. Report progress of training program to management on a regular basis and as requested.
13. Maintain personnel, training, administrative records, training facilities, equipment and tools.
14. Perform, other than all the above, whatever duties entrusted by the Training Manager in respect of the training work.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

    

    

Advanced degree (in engineering) from four(4) year college or university, with more than two (2) years of related experience, or undergraduate degree with two (2) to four (4) years of related experience.
