MAJOR DUTIES AND RESULTS:

    

1. Receive the safety orientation from Safety Control Manager / Supervisor.
2. Receive the office function from Administration Manager.
3. Organize the erection parties i.e. structure, refractory and insulation, tube and piping, and painting, and clarify the work scope and schedule. 
4. Action for commencement of work coordinating with client person in-charge, other disciplines, and subcontractors under the direction by Construction Superintendent / Construction Manager.
5. Review the latest status of “For Construction Drawings “,  “ Specifications For Construction “ and “ Procedure / Manuals For Construction “, and ensure that the same latest issues are in use by the subcontractors.
6. Check the status of delivered materials and prepare the nonconformance reports collaborating with QC Manager.
7. Expediting materials yet to be delivered.
8. Plan and practice the remedial work of materials / equipment damaged during transporting, at the site
9. Reporting the status of work and problems resolution to Construction Superintendent / Construction Manager.
10. Report of the progress of work accomplished to Construction Superintendent / Construction Manager and Schedule Controller.
11. Initiate to revise the construction schedule, if required, due to the slippage of schedule / progress of work caused by various reasons.
12. Instruction of the job to be performed by Supervisors and superintending their performance.
13. Instruction of documents to be used and the job to be performed
14. Reporting manner of work
15. Assign the work area for the supervisors
16. Monitor the supervisor’s performance

                                                                    

1. Direct subcontractors and monitor on the matters of ;
2. Resource mobilization ( workforce, construction equipment )
3. Storage yard of materials
4. Execution plan and procedure, schedule, and progress
5. Materials to be supplied by subcontractors
6. Preservation of equipment
7. Performance of daily work
8. Quality of work and inspection schedule of installation
9. Safety work performance and safety inspection of construction equipment
10. Submission of reports
11. Clearance of used materials (immediate house keeping )
12. Monthly production report for invoicing
13. Modification / change in the work procedure
14. Grouting of equipment
15. Alignment of the rotating equipment
16. Preparation of Field Modification Work under the direction by Field Engineering Manager.
17. Preparation of taking over and handing over documents.
18. Punch listing incomplete work and expedite punching out of the construction works
19. Preparation of correspondences to the client and subcontractors.
20. Coordinate for motor run with Electrical Discipline Chief
21. Coordinate for sequential / continuity tests of Instruments with Instrument Discipline Chief.
22. Assist pre-commissioning Manager / Engineer for pre-commissioning activities ( fans, blowers, drying-out, acid cleaning, soda boiling, piping blowing / flashing, )
23. Attend inspection for QC and input the results of inspection daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
24. Check the progress report prepared by the subcontractor and input the progress, daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
25. Issue NCR ( Non Conformance Report) or any other type of defective report
26. Upon receipt of NCR or similar type of report from client, 3r party or authorities, identify and conduct corrective action supervising discipline supervisor or subcontractors
27. Punching and verification of the system punch
28. Regular status reporting of the above works to discipline manager
29. Material inspection in prior to the commencement of the works, in compliance of the applicable drawings and specification.
30. Permit To Work (PTW) preparation, application and negotiation till successfully obtain the PTW.
31. Review and evaluation of JSA and any work permit prepared by subcontractors

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

    

    

Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical engineering and more than 10 years of experience as combustion equipment supervisor in the oil and gas construction business.
