职位描述

What are my responsibilities?

 

As a Sales Manager, you are a member of management team as a trusted business partner. You are responsible to sell solutions, products and services to existing and new customers, from opportunities identification to contract signature; Understand customers’ requirement and introduce and promote damper to potential/new customers; Maintain relationship with customer and partner, solve issues in order to improve existing customer satisfaction; Lead tender preparation and submission; Contract negotiation, together with technical team.

 

In this role, you are expected to build effective working organization, manage team of sales.

   

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in relevant market:
  • Address business opportunities

  • Daily network and lobby with relevant authorities, and set up meetings with appropriate contacts in business and government

  • Promote the company and its products to customers

  • Organize and prepare BO Reviews and provide inputs to Win / No Go meetings

  • Develop strategic account plan, propose the strategy and drive execution with autonomy.

  • During the tender phase, need to prepare bid strategy, and daily activities from the date of appointment (in principle the Go Date) up to the coming into force. 
  • During the tender phase, as per the information collected, propose the winning strategy  
  • Manage the customer relationship, during and outside of tenders, understand their changing needs and influence them to desired outcomes

  • Support the GM to improve or solve issues in order to improve existing customer satisfaction and develop new business opportunities.
  • Support to gather local market intelligence (competition, industry mapping, customer technical requirements and tendencies)
  • Provide inputs for the preparation and updating of specific customer or plate form strategy plan(s)
  • Keep close monitoring on on-going projects and propose solutions to ensure the customer satisfaction.
  • To secure the project payment collection according to the payment terms of the contract strictly.

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

 

In this role, you are expected to build effective working relationships across a diverse team, with the ultimate goal of establishing an efficient organization.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or above degree
  • Commercial sense and sales competency
  • 5~10 years’ railway experience with good network
  • Leadership to drive for results

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A good level of technical competence of damper or bogie. And RS competence will be a plus.
  • Customer oriented and problem resolution focus
  • Good self-learning & development capability.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with good promotion & negotiation skills
  • Manages responsibilities within Alstom’s ethics standards
  • Awareness and strategic view of main line and mass transit market. 
  • Good understanding of commercial terms and conditions, including Alstom customers’ standards
  • Autonomous, results-driven
  • Good financial awareness and sound judgement
