BI Developer(Cognos, MicroStrategy, BO, Crystal Report) Urgent!

As team member on the BI team, deliver a reporting environment using BI tools. Act as developer, responsible for developing metrics, attributes, hierarchies, performing user and group maintenance, security and monitoring system performance. Must have a good understanding of BI implementations as well as possess good data analysis, and SQL skills.

Position Responsibilities:

¨ Work with on-site team members, and project team members to develop and implement business analytics capabilities using BI tools and platforms.

¨ Perform data analysis, to obtain a good understanding of source system data flow and data model.

¨ Develop and maintain the company’s BI projects, reports, documents, dashboards, cubes, and scorecards to improve analytics capabilities.

¨ Work with Database Administrators and ETL developers to create metrics as required for reporting, and migrate applications into development, test and production environments.

¨ Create and/or perform peer review of BI reports to ensure that all reports conform to standards and guidelines.

¨ Create and execute test plans and test scripts for unit and system testing of BI reports, based upon requirements specifications.

¨ Maintain standards pursuant to the BI project architecture, report documents, dashboards, and other reporting development practices.

Position Qualifications:

¨ Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related IT field

¨ Excellent oral and written English communication skills

¨ Strong SQL Skills

¨ Data Modeling experience

¨ Experience with other BI tools, such as Cognos, MicroStrategy, BO, Crystal Report Tableau, MS Analysis Services, MS Reporting Services

¨ Experience with MicroStrategy Report Development is a plus

BI/DW/ETL/DB Developer

Database Developers design and implement multi-terabyte operational marketing databases that integrate our client's data with demographic data for prospects and consumers. Our databases typically house a hundred million individuals and billions of transactions. You will be immersed in the development and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server database solutions to meet client business objectives, and have an opportunity to work with a cross-disciplinary team across various divisions of Database Services.

Position Responsibilities:

¨ Building and maintaining SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server

¨ Building and maintaining DTS packages

¨ Building and maintaining production SQL jobs

¨ Building and maintaining complex SQL queries for data analysis and data extract

¨ Building and maintaining ETL scripts

¨ Building and maintaining data mart extraction processes

¨ Performing quality assurance and testing at the unit level

¨ Assisting in writing user and technical documentation

¨ Other duties as assigned

Must-have Skills & Years of Experience

¨ Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related IT field

¨ One or Two years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL programming, DTS, SSIS and other ETL tools

¨ Experience designing and implementing large databases and data warehouses preferred

¨ Experience in database marketing a plus

¨ Experience with Informatica a plus

¨ Strong knowledge of software engineering and applying database methodologies, techniques, and tools

Senior Database Developer

¨ Design, develop, maintain and support various ETL software packages and applications utilized in the marketing solutions delivery process.

¨ Responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of several client applications designed to provide a wide range of CRM related functionality

¨ Responsible for the design and development of new system modules based on the client end-user business requirements and with focus on the application stability and performance

¨ Write new and debug existing stored procedures. Identify and introduce process efficiencies

¨ Write process specifications and maintain application documentation

¨ Adhere to strict change management and source control procedures

¨ Develop and maintain process automation and QA strategies

Skills/Requirements:

¨ B.S. in CS or equivalent.

¨ 3-5 years' BI/DW experience

¨ Experienced with at least one ETL tool

¨ Experienced with Oracle or MS SQL Server

¨ Familar with SQL, or PL/SQL and T-SQL

¨ Familar with UNIX/ Linux experience, able to write and understand scripting languages - ex: UNIX Shell scripts; Python if possible

¨ Some background in data analysis, data processing and customer data management Ability to handle large data sets, knowledge of data integration, validation and processing methodologies

¨ Experience using job scheduler/process automation tools (Tidal or equivalent)

¨ Ability to maintain complex systems and manage ongoing process improvement and refinement

¨ Exposure to BI tools and applications such as Cognos, SAS, Business Objects, MicroStrategy or other tools

¨ Great attention to detail
