SERVICE MANAGER

? Key position at the centre of our operations, responsible for the company’s service offering

? Member of company management, reporting directly to the directors of the company

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES – PLANNING, ORGANISATION, MANAGEMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND FOLLOW UP OF:

? TECHNICAL SERVICES (boats & equipment preparations, maintenance, repairs)

? PARTS & EQUIPMENT RETAIL

? SAILING SERVICES (deliveries, crew placement, trainings)

? EVENTS (regattas, sailing packages, cruises, charter)

? AFTER SALES

MAIN TASKS

? Human Resource Management: technical staff, service staff and crew management. Planning, finding, training, supervising and managing the necessary technical workforce (inhouse or outsourced)

? Supplier management: Finding, comparing, negotiating and managing suppliers of equipment, materials and services

? Purchasing

? Stock and inventories management

? Supply chain and logistics

? Quality Control: of parts, deliveries, repairs and interventions

? Continuous improvement of service operations (teams, processes, operations & results)

? Participation in creation and development of new nautical service packages (inc. pitches, kits and tools, resources…)

? Promotion and prospection of service package.

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to be considered, candidates MUST:

? Have a technical background followed by a technical management level.

? Experience of successful after sales within a mechanical product retail industry (boats/yachts, cars, trucks…)

? Provide a superior customer care and service mind level

? Have AT LEAST a 2-years uninterrupted working experience in a technical support / technical sales / after-sales position.

? Have a good command of common IT tools (word, excel, mail, internet…)

? Have a good command of written and oral English

? 25-35 years old

? Careful, attention to details, diplomatic, meticulous, methodical, thorough and well organised

? Good leadership skills

? Driven, ambitious, motivated, proactive, professional and efficient over-achiever

? Ability to work under pressure and willing to meet diversified challenges

? Good oral expression, friendly, clean presentation

Location: Qingdao, travelling in Shandong Province and China

Remuneration: rewarding package consisting of a fixed salary + commission
