Your Impact

Responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis function team. Monitor and analyze operational performance and proactively identify opportunities for operational/financial improvement; lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities; and direct the credit and collection operations.

• Frequently interact with executives and/or other senior level managers
• Requires the ability to influence others' thinking and to gain acceptance of change in cross-functional areas
• Manage others' professional staff and manage through subordinate managers
• Has responsibility for achieving planned results in programs, budgets, and schedules for a complex organization
• Work on complex problems where outcomes may have a significant impact on the business unit/company and typically occur in an annual or multi-year timeframe
• Must blend functional strategy to achieve overall business strategy
• Establish operational objectives/assignments to meet functional/PL/BU goals
• Decisions may have serious impact on the overall success of function, PL/BU or company operations
• Erroneous decisions will have a serious effect on the overall success of function, PL/BU or company operations

Specific Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and drive operational improvement opportunities to improve financial performance
• Drive the development and review of operating budgets and forecasts, and partner with local commercial leaders providing financial analysis and improvement actions
• Assist in the development of long and short-range financial programs in support of the corporation's financial objectives
• Develop analysis of pricing and go-to-market strategies
• Develop analysis of cost of sales and expenses
• Provide executive management with detailed analysis of P&L and performance metrics, and develop actionable corrective measures when results are falling short of target
• Ensure that accurate monthly forecasts supported by reasonable and well-balanced assumptions and actions are in place to meet/exceed targets
• Influence financial performance of the business through active engagement with commercial management and mitigate shortfalls in performance through the use of tools such as RCCM

Our Needs

To be successful in this role, we expect the candidate to bring the following skills and experience:

• At least 10 years of finance experience and progressively responsible roles at US MNCs within the technology industry; 3+ years of those at the Manager level is strongly preferred
• Must be a well-rounded leader with the utmost integrity, business partnering and influencing skills
• Track record of creating value-added financial analysis for tangible results and developing high-performing teams
• Needs to be a hands-on professional and an effective communicator with the ability to influence at the senior level and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Must be fluent in both Chinese and English (oral and writing)
• Strong leadership and experience in developing and managing a tight-knit and diverse team
• Possess excellent job knowledge with flair for details and ability to drill down to details
• Ability to command respect of peers and subordinates alike
• Always challenge status quo with innovative ideas and possess a passion for identification and implement of "Continuous Improvement" initiatives
• Strong results orientation and a sense of urgency
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, including Oracle and Hyperion
• Decisive with ability to adopt a "Big Picture" approach when required
• Must be business-savvy and able to function as a value-added business partner to senior local commercial management
