·       Manages quality at regional and some global suppliers in one or two commodities

·       Works in a changing, medium risk environment with regular change and growth

·       Initiates and implements process change at suppliers

·       Drives resolution of complex quality problems (having several root causes that interact and are difficult to establish) across suppliers

·       Problem solving requires good knowledge and application of problem solving techniques and knowledge of technology

·       Co-define and implements waste and efficiency reduction measures at suppliers

Critical Experiences and Skills

? Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology or a related discipline. 5 years of experience in Quality, Procurement or Operations management.

? Several years as a Quality Professional for a regional technology company with knowledge of product and process improvement as well as early supplier engagement activities 

? Strong knowledge in a specific technology area

? Auditor qualifications and related experience

? Thorough understanding of Quality Tools & modern engineering methods such as PPAP, D/PFMEA, MSA, control plans, SPC, Cpk, DfA, DfM, VE etc.)

? Strong knowledge of problem solving techniques (5xWhy, 8D, Fault tree etc.)

? Green belt DMAIC/DFSS (Preferred)

? Influencing skills: collaborative yet can challenge confidently 

? Acts with a sense of urgency

? Strong communicator
