Responsibilities:

· Engage with customer's Engineering Design teams on current and future connector/cable applications.
· Provide concepts, proposals, and general design support for these opportunities.
· Provide solutions to the customer's Engineering group.
· Quickly assess best solutions (new development vs. product extension vs. existing product) and communicate them to the customer.
· Establish relationships with key customer engineering contacts and decision makers.
· Be the initial point of contact for customer's local engineering group.
· Gain a detailed understanding of customer's product set and future roadmap.
· Gain a detailed understanding of CIS's products and future roadmap.
· Stay abreast of TE's key development programs.
· Proficient at ProE 3D CAD
· Technical presentations skills
· Communicate with Customer and TE engineering support groups.
· Understanding of how to obtain information (prints, specs, models, data, key engineering/business contacts. etc) on existing products.
· Help the design team to coordinate the project execution with Qingdao factory.

Qualifications:
· Bechelor degree in Mechanical or equivalent, Master is preferred.
· At least 5 years of experience in design, the connector industry background is highly desired.
· Excellent computer skills; ProE CAD.
· Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
· Enthusiastic can-do attitude, highly self-motivated, result oriented, detail oriented and a well developed sense of drive. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
· Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
