Main Responsibilities:

1.Yearly budgeting and standard cost preparation, individual annual standard cost updates.
2.Completes month-end inventory close including inputting and checking the accuracy of journal entries, reconciliation and account analysis.
3.Prepares and ensures the accuracy of all cost accounting management reports, including but not limited to gross margin by product,other variance report.
4.Recommends and implements ways of improving plant operation and financial performance.
5.Participates in the development of financial and written justifications for plant capital projects.
6.Assists in the implementation and observation of physical inventories.
7.Assists in new product quotes based on marketing and operating data.
8.Implements cost and related system changes.
9.Assists in the annual financial audit.
10.Other tasks assigned by immediate superior.



Required Background Skills:

1.A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years experience in accounting.

2.A minimum of 2 years experience in direct cost accounting.
3.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
4.Strong computer skills, including knowledge of an ERP system , Microsoft Office Excel and prior SAP experience a plus.
5.Must have a high level of accuracy.
6.Ability to work overtime as needed, especially during month-end close.
