What is the purpose of the job?
To maintain the group apparel/food catalogue in order to support Buying Manager in achieving the company's financial targets and objectives.

What do you have to achieve?
Manage and administer group catalogue to achieve company targets of:
Sales revenue
Profitability
Gross Margin
Cost of reductions
Achieve stock targets
KPI, eg Food Waste, Size availability etc

Able to deliver recommendations and actions to maximise sales and minimise cost through effective communication with relevant parties, e.g. IFG, IBO, HK commercial and marketing team.

Develop self & others to support the business growth.

What is the scope of the job?
Report directly to Buying Manager

What do you have to do?
Profitability
To maximise sales and minimise costs in order to meet company's gross profit target.
To maintain stock levels and commitment in order to maximise sales and minimise cost of reductions/and Food Waste.
To exploit selling opportunities through identifying and chasing the fast sellers in depth/ahead.
To identify slow selling lines and propose action plan when necessary.
To manage size ratio and availability through effective analytical work on the available information and reports to benchmark and generate recommendation and actions in order to maximise/achieve agreed targets.
To propose percentage of uplift on promotional items.
To assist in the preparation of relevant reports and information for analysis.


Communication
To build good rapport and working relationship with IFG, IBO and Hong Kong Team.
To closely work with Commercial and Marketing Teams to deliver clear presentation of GMA, layout guidelines etc, and through effective communication to ensure agreed plans are being implemented by respective parties.
To assist Buying Manager in producing operational guidelines to stores.
To conduct regular store visit to establish links with the store team. Collecting information on customer profile and store feedback and be able to make recommendations on product presentation and layout enhancement, etc to Buying Manager.
