Mission：

- To oversee the closing of financial books under both PRC GAAP and US GAAP.

- To oversee all tax affairs in Shanghai and eight other cities in China.

- To ensure std work and process implementation and develop share service processes where needed.

- Optimize cash flow through cash flow forecast.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and quality close of financial books on a monthly basis.

• Ensure timely submission of tax filing to authorities (including transfer pricing documentation).

• Ensure timely filing to SAIC for changes in branches information, person in changes etc.

• Review and submit monthly cash flow forecast to Regional Head Office.

• Review and submit monthly account reconciliation to Global on a timely and accurately manner

• Review and approve journal entries in SAP GL (fixed assets, tax provision, deferred tax, bank interest, etc)

• Prepare / Review internal control testing documents per SOX request.

• Ensure payments are made in accordance to local law and regulations through consultation with tax bureaus and banks (SAFE requirements).

• Ensure all accounting activities are in compliance and following internal control requirement

• Assist annual statutory audit and internal audit, assist on audit remediation actions follow ups.

• Key liaison person for tax and treasury matters within the company, and related authorities.

Key Competencies/skills:

• Preferably with SAP knowledge (FI or CO module)

• Familiar with US GAAP and PRC GAAP

• Understanding of tax accounting knowledge

• Ability to deliver within deadlines

• Being independent and attentive

• Change management leadership

• Attract, develop and retain talent

• Good English in both oral and written

                                           

          

  Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in multinational companies, with at least 3 years in managerial position.
• Hands on experience in one of the key areas preferred - GL & Tax & Treasury.
• Share service experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Able to work overtime during month ends
