KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / CHALLENGES:
- To oversee all aspects of visual design, and ensure the quality and consistency of the design
- To manage and work with creative media partners to deliver the visual output required for each digital initiative
- To assess and recommend improvements and optimizations to User Interaction elements
KEY OUTCOMES:
Digital Initiatives
- Leads specific digital initiatives, delivering on the agreed success measures (implementation, adoption, revenue creation, brand)
- Oversees specific digital roadmaps or agendas, achieving the committed goals and objectives
Visual Design
- Lead or participate at design stage, delivering visual and UI elements required for each initiative
- Works with vendors for visual design, delivering on the agreed specifications and envisioned output
- Mentors and develops understanding of visual design, in both the team and wider bank community
User interaction Design
- Lead or participate at ideation and conceptualization stage, delivering user interaction journeys for each initiative
- Understand the user expectations, and create productive user interactions
- Mentor and develop understanding of user interaction, in both the team and wider bank community
Vendor Engagement
- Builds and maintains relationships
- Uses clear and appropriate communication - both written and spoken skills and face-to -face interaction
- Reviews ongoing partnerships and identify further partnership opportunities
Risk & Control
- Ensures all laid out policies and procedures are complied with within team
- Maintains the Bank’s reputation and consistent communication to partners
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Strong visual and user interaction awareness, ability to present visually a concept or VOC output
- A self-starter who is able to initiate, manage and, when necessary, make tough decisions
- Independently make creative decisions, or influence team towards a visual direction
- Inquisitive and able to think of out the box
- Ability to prioritise, manage and direct multiple activities.
- Sound understanding of digital trends and emerging technology, particularly in Asia.
- Knowledge of financial services and digital banking is a plus.
- Well versed with professional design and imaging tools
