The Training Manager - East Asia will implement induction and on going training and development programs for sales, operations and customer service team members across China.
Reports to: Regional VP - East Asia & VP HR - APAC
Key Responsibilities:
ü Under the guidance of the VP of HR implements the training strategy and annual plan for field roles.
ü Organizes, implements and facilitates different training programs, drills and exercises that enable team members to develop and improve for maximum contribution to the company.
ü In conjunction with the Global training team develops and / or localises training programs / drills as required.
ü Supports line managers in conducting the induction and orientation programs for new hires across East Asia and monitoring the effectiveness of induction for new hires.
ü Motivates, trains, coaches and develops team members for on-going performance improvement.
ü Supports the Training Team in the preparation of the training calendar & budget
ü Updates Training section on the Intranet
ü Tracks training inputs received by team members
ü Undertakes projects in the area of training and development as directed by the VP HR - APAC.
Key Position Requirements:
ü Strong communication, presentation and training facilitation skills
ü The ability to work with all levels of management and a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
ü Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
ü Proven leadership and business acumen skills
ü Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning and performance consulting processes
ü Experience in field Sales, Operations and Customer Service training
ü Experience working with internal client groups across different cities in China or APAC will be a distinct advantage.
ü Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
ü A minimum of 5 years of working experience, in a similar role
ü Relevant University degree
