Key Responsibilities

·Maintain and improve hardware, software, servers, databases and controls on site.

·Hardware, software, cluster servers, databases, network and communication systems related to the automated handling system as scoped in  service contract.

·Hands on IT and controls management on site.

·Decreases response time when controls appear to have problems.

·Control alignment will be optimized and all configurations will be well documented.

·Solve unique but definite problems.

·Works systematically: applies well known methods, techniques and tooling (knowledge of a field at bachelor level) to achieve concrete and  known results (project wise).

·Offers professional arguments as the basis for making choices and for convincing the people concerned.

·Improvement of work processes calls for attention continuously.

·Responsibilities

 Solve high level control errors

 Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of system software

 Maintain all site hardware and software

 Long term bin planning

 Contact point with headquarter IT departments and control support

 IT configuration management

 Change management on control level

 Initiate and execute improvement actions

·List of key activities

 Monitor hardware, software, network performances

 Solve problems

 Maintain and archive releases, versions and updates

 Implement software updates and patches

 Bin planning long term

 First line support for the hotline

Requirements / Qualifications:

·Education background: Degree or Master in IT or Computer Engineering.

·Working experience: At least 5+ year experience in relative field, at least 3 years experiences in IT or Network engineering or system  setup/maintenance.

·Experience in maintaining cluster servers, databases, network and communications systems and software related automated baggage handling  systems or automated systems in material handling industries.

·Languages: Fluent in both written and oral English, Mandarin is the same.

·Hardware:

 Computers and accessories (e.g. monitors, keyboard, hard drives)

 Networking system (IP settings, firewalls)

 VPN ( remote connection)

 Server racks, direct contact with HP organization

·Software:

 Windows

 Oracle

 WinCC (for SCADA)

 Webfactory (for SCADA)

·System applications:

 Siemens PLC S7 (low level controls)

 Ethernet/CAN/Profibus/AS-i/RS232/422/485+

 SAC/BPI/SCADA/FSC/Training

 Destination Servers (high level controls)

 Quality applications (process intelligence applications)

 ATR & Barcode Scanners

 IT Interfacing with X-ray/Nuclear monitoring system
