Summary:



Assumes the responsibilities of food safety responsible for RM, finished goods' food safety and regulatory assessment to ensure the RM and finished to meet the Chinese regulatory requirement, customer requirement and targeted exported country food regulatory requirement.



Manage and develop regulatory team members and provide coach to other related functional members.


Key Accountabilities:



· Carry out the mission of Griffith Laboratories.

· Update and check regulatory compliance of raw materials and finished goods to market regulations

· Establish new RM specification. Conduct new RM and FG regulatory compliance evaluation.

· Obtain, check and review, of all technical, food safety, documentation pertaining to the different business sites.

· Effectively communicate/contribute regulatory information to relevant persons both internal and external such as R&D, Sales, marketing, QA, customers and globally to meet project goals.

· Build and maintain good relationship with outside parties such as Chinese CIQ and relevant government authorities.

· Monitor changes in food regulations pertaining to our business, analyze and implement changes to our systems


Job Requirements/Qualifications


Education and Experience:



Bachelor degree or higher in Food Science, Biotechnology or related discipline.
Experience of 8 years minimum in regulatory both of Chinese and foreign countries, Experience in R&D, QA would be beneficial.
Excellent verbal and Written English and mandarin language.
Good command of Microsoft offices.


Skills:


Good knowledge and skills for finding regulatory and food safety data by all resources.
Good knowledge in Chinese regulatory and international regulatory such as Japan, EU, SEA and Codex Alimentarius.
Can manage and set up data system of regulatory and food safety.
Ability to communicate through all levels of a company shop floor to senior management.
Willing to travel within China and abroad.
Positive Attitude, good communicator and self-motivated the ability to learn as well as teach.
Proactive, good learner and responsibility.
