Job description

As part of PwC tax, tax technology is at the centre stage of improving our client's tax function effectiveness, especially when it comes to compliance automation, data management, risk analysis, and data analytics. 

 

Job responsibility

Help analyse client’s customisation requirements based on current service offerings
Lead customisation implementations (client facing) and work with development and quality assurance teams
Implement small-scale data transformation/conversion tools to facilitate go-live preparations
Involve in major release functional design and technical discussions

 

Job requirements

Experienced in software related industry, participated in multiple projects
Rich experience in various web-based application implementation projects.
Experienced in database design and implementation and SQL manipulation.
Able to work with remote development team on implementation projects to further extend existing software capabilities.
Knowledge of or experience in big data analysis and the corresponding analysis model building and refining process.
Able to analyze requirements from a programming stand point and participate or lead in development meetings.
Stay on top of latest technology trends and recommend new technologies to further improve our existing software platform.®
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in STEM majors.

 

Preferred additional skills

Full stack development experience is highly preferred
Master in web-based application development technology, such as PHP or Java MVC framework, HTML, JavaScript.
Python, R, or Matlab is a plus.
Worked with enterprise ERP systems, financial information systems, or accounting systems, either in implementation or customization projects.
Knowledge of Macros or VBS is also a plus.
