GENERAL SUMMARY:

Perform testing engineering assignments associated with integrity of product design to assure manufacturability,

Primary responsibility to assist new project introduction from CPD/EVT or migration to Shilu manufacturing and release product support.

Quality, Cost and Delivery effectiveness with a minimum of supervision and guidance.

2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cell QDC (quality delivery cost) daily management.

Cell Setup for New projects and Migration projects.

DBS Kaizen to the cells for the real DBS Culture (one piece flow, SW, KANBAN…..)

Raise the RED FLAG to production manager if the problem could not be solved within 30 minutes.

Training new TE ENG for the daily works.

Lead and coach trouble-shooter to learn trouble shooting of new project.

Build up testing SOP through working with RD engineer.

Train operator for the necessary new job skills, certify operator skill level.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

3. REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years technical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Fluent in both oral and written English.

Wide application of principles, theories and concepts of functional and component area.

Requires originality and independent judgment and evaluation.

Familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE(Design Of Experiments) tool.

Have very well trouble shooting skills.

Theories and concepts of manufacturing engineering with acknowledge of lean production and Kaizen is preferred.

4. MEASUREMENT:

New project successfully introduced into mass production.

Line down due to testing issues.

Productivity improvement due to testing process/equipment improvement.

RTY (Rolled Throughput Yield) of calibration & testing promotion.
