Position: Corporate language trainer with proofreading and other duties

This position provides the ideal candidate with stable working conditions and a supportive environment in which they will be encouraged to improve their abilities across a wide range of tasks and given space to grow and develop. They will also have the opportunity to work closely with Chinese colleagues and clients and experience doing business in Chinese.

Requirements:
1. Native English speaker
2. Excellent command of English, especially written English
3. Able to use elementary spoken and written Mandarin for communication purposes; high level listening and reading abilities a plus
4. More than 3 year's language teaching experience, those with experience teaching business English preferred
5. Bachelor's degree and above; degrees or background in business-related majors
6. Previous business experience, including project management experience, a plus
7. Proven ability to work independently, build and maintain client relationships and expand business
8. Willingness to take an active role in the company as a whole and to work as a team

Roles and responsibilities:
Training (70-80%)
1. Manage the company's training projects, including communication with clients, course design, teaching and evaluation
2. Manage and oversee other foreign trainers and their training responsibilities
3. Conduct lesson planning, training, and guidance to and evaluation of other trainers
Proofreading (20-30%)
1. Proofread Chinese-English translated materials on a range of subjects

2. Take part in other areas of company business, including meetings, dealing with foreign clients, etc.
3. Complete other tasks as requested of you by the company

Work hours and length of contract
Monday - Friday; 9am-12am and 1pm - 6pm
One year contract

Salary and benefits
1. Receive all Chinese statutory holidays
2. Three month probation period on basic salary
3. After completion of the probation period, the employee will be eligible for all benefits including social insurance, annual paid leave, and so on.
4. Foreign expert certificate and work visa for one year (provided that the government requirements are met)
5. Yearly salary of between 80-120,000 Renminbi before tax and other payments, based on experience and suitability

Location:
Chengdu city (occasional business travel within China may be required, with expenses covered by the company).

Start date:
Must be available to begin work at the end of August/beginning of September.
