Responsibilities :
1.Support production supplier quality concerns
·Respond to purchased part issues on the production floor
·Contact suppliers and arrange sorting as needed
·Develop receiving inspection plans and paperwork
·Process supplier charge backs to recover costs due to supplier responsible defects
·Communicate supplier related issues to manufacturing
2.Participate in product launches
·Review released purchased part drawings and distribute to suppliers
·Oversee review and approval of supplier PPAPs
·Perform new supplier assessments
·Lead supplier information days at beginning of launch
3.Monitor / Improve supplier quality performance
·Oversee supplier corrective action process
·Maintain supplier performance records
·Support on-site supplier reviews
·Maintenance and communication of supplier scorecards
·Communicate with Purchasing Manager regarding supplier quality performance
4.Lead supplier development
·Maintain 'Top Focus' suppliers list and work with them to improve
·Track and maintain supplier quality system certifications
·Communicate and monitor customer specific requirements that require sub-supplier conformance
5.Travel to suppliers as necessary to address issues and promote supplier improvements.

Qualifications :
1.ISO/TS16949 Quality Management Systems standard
2.AIAG 5 Core Quality Tools (PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP)
3.Problem Solving Methodologies (5 Why, 8D, Fishbone, etc)
4.Team facilitation
5.Excellent English skills
