The candidate must be experienced in key account project sales to clients such as airports and/or airlines, or the aviation industry in general.

Responsibilities
Investigation and research of potential new markets
Contacting people by e mail and on the telephone to identify and qualify potential leads
Arranging appointments for the purpose of establishing requirements and developing new business and planning effective and productive overseas trips
Responding to enquiries and reviewing technical specifications to assess the suitability for quoting
Receiving or compiling Bills of Material with engineering and design input
Working with the team and alone to produce quotations and proposals and technical presentations
Conducting presentations to decision makers
Following up all quotations and presentations and monitoring progress to optimise potential for achieving the sale
Development of on-going business relationships with a variety of customers and end-users
Producing sales forecasts, business activity reports and sales figures as required.
Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to ensure sales activities are in line with the overall strategic business plan
Meeting targets for new business and repeat orders/spares
Securing long term contracts with major accounts
Other duties as required to achieve the KPI’s
Requirements
Has worked at high levels within large organisations
Has a technical background and a degree qualification
Has the ability to read drawings
Understands technical specifications
Has a successful track record of winning orders
Has been used to business travel and the Asian market
Has knowledge of the aviation sector
Has an engineering qualification
Has experience of putting quotations together
Has experience of the Asian market
Has experience of developing business
Has experience as a sales engineer
Has successfully had products specified with major engineering consultants
Has sold directly to end-users
Has sold to OEM’s
