Position Summary:
Assume responsibility for the management of a sales territory. Apply skills to produce maximum dollar sales and provide quality service. Develop insights to division/customer/distributor relationships and how to support them on a continuous improvement basis. Assume an unofficial leadership role among sales engineers.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Report to Product Group Sales Manager. Work with distributors, OEM, major end users and design institutes.
Job Responsibility:
? Has sales responsibility for specific product group products in an assigned geographical area.
? To increase sales and prioritize the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain optimum sales result.
? Responsible for distributor sales performance in assigned geographical area.
? Train distributor and/or OEM regarding new product application.
? Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical knowledge of the specific product group products, applications, features, advantages and benefits.
? Obtain specifications and approvals at design institutes, owners and O.E.M targeted to result in sales opportunities or increased sales.
? Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the competitive products and their activity in the market place and provide a report on a monthly basis.
? Present positive self-image and make good business decisions utilizing the Product Group Sales Manager.
? Review and manage accounts receivable to minimize risks.
? Assume an unofficial leadership role among sales engineers.
Qualifications:
? Over 5 years sales experience for multinational company
? Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
? Extensive experience in key account’s target industry – Hydraulic
? Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to interact with customer executives and high level managers.
? Ability to work with multiple Parker Groups, Divisions, etc. to achieve unified solutions.
? Highly organized, self motivated and self discipline..
