职位描述：
？ Leads and executes post-production support to Manufacturing plants and existing Customers, delivering a seamless experience.
？ The conduit between Manufacturing and Motor Product Development (PD) team to ensure product specifications and process capabilities are represented to deliver quality products.
？ Delivers application support to existing motors and new business development opportunities.

Travel Requirements: There will be a requirement to travel to locations to deliver to Motor’s support requirements.

？ Is the first point of contact for all enquiries on product, process and quality issues from:
o Manufacturing plants
o Existing Customers
？ Plans, prioritise and ensures that all issues are resolved in a timely manner. (Utilises resources of the Motors PD team where appropriate.)
？ Proactively manages expectations of the customer (both internal and external customer)
？ Records and generates reusable knowledge from issues and resolution and actively shares to relevant areas of the Motors PD team.

Manufacturing plant Support
？ Reviews and reports on enquiries from factory engineers regarding product or process issues (including product, process, FPA manufacturing equipment, plastics and press metal tooling)
？ Reviews process capability data to identify potential issues
？ Work with product development and production engineers to create process specifications to address any gaps and issues
？ Develops and maintains process specifications
？ Bills of Material (BOM) creation and maintenance
？ Design and commission or production and audit jigs and fixtures
？ Test and evaluate sample motors and controllers

Customer (Client) Support
？ Receive, review and report on quality issues
？ raised by customers including corrective action where applicable
？ Provide application support or advice where appropriate
？ Prepare and provide supporting technical information as required including specific customer drawings
？ Preparation and shipping of samples for evaluation – with supporting information.
？ Inspect warranty or service returns and report

New Business Support
？ Provide technical data (eg. motor drawings, additional application support) to support new business development activity.
？ Preparation of samples and supporting material

Product Development Support
？ Engineering project deliverables
？ Conduct verification testing

Managing Relationships
？ Manage and provide visibility on all support activity.
？ Build strong and constructive relationships within the Motors product development team, motors manufacturing team and across business functions.
？ Work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders to create and execute quality outcomes.
？ Effectively manage external relationships.

Health & Safety
You are expected to understand Health and Safety matters that relate to your role and to manage daily activities to fully comply with all Health & Safety in Employment legislation, regulation and policies.

Experience NEED：
Position is for an engineer with the required technical knowledge, skill and personal attributes to achieve clearly defined business objectives.
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Science) or relevant trade qualifications with significant experience.
？ Understands Engineering / Scientific Principles
？ Expertise in manufacturing process capablities
？ Strong understanding of quality measures, processes & reporting
？ Strong practical problem solver – a systems thinker
？ Technical Learning Aptitude
？ Planning – can separate high vlaue outcomes from others and sets own priorities. Keeps plans current and visible.
？ Commercial and Intellectual Property nous.
？ Experience in using Engineering Systems and Tools (CAD Creo, Bills of Material)
