职位描述

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customer support to internal and external customers within established service levels, allocating day to day incidents and Requests properly, ensures involved parties and management are notified and required to act when incident arises
  • Responsible for setting and delivering hardware to end users
  • Participates in the testing, implementation and execution of new/upgraded applications and hardware ensuring proper reporting and feedback is passed to management and peers
  • Ensure accomplishment of day to day activities as well as small IT projects by reporting properly in the established basis and also working closely with SLMs to ensure deliverables are on time
  • Responsible for delivering support to remote sites if required
  • Responsible for expediting resolution of escalated issues
  • Follows established break/fix procedures such as keeping a good rotation of break/fix parts to ensure minimal or zero impact to IT operations
  • Maintains good communication levels with other support teams
  • Ensuring an acceptable reporting level is kept and this information is passed to the next management level, also ensuring reporting day to day operation is handled properly to keep IT systems updated
  • Ensures transactions are reported properly to involved areas such as asset management
  • Ensures proper feedback with regards to established procedures is provided when required to ensure daily operations improvement
  • Ensures end users follow established processes and procedures by providing direct training on ground and ensuring processes and procedures are available to all potential IT users
  • Participates in the definition of hardware acquisition by collaborating with Sr.or lead IT customer support analyst when required
  • Responsible for keeping up good standards of Health, Safety and being environmentally conscious

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in a related area
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support, communications, computing systems, etc.
  • Good knowledge on hardware and software of computer systems
  • Understanding of operating systems, Microsoft applications is preferred
  • Knowledge of network protocols and topologies
  • Good communications skills
