Commercial Analyst
Purpose
Provide in-depth commercial analysis of customers, sales, markets, segments and competitors. Identify and analyze customer and business opportunities. Support deal proposal and tendering processes.
Interrelations
The Commercial Analyst reports to Area Sales Director and collaborates closely with Sales in the area, as well as Global Sales functions.
Formal authorities
Has the authority to act within this Functional Description and within the chart of authority as outlined in the company’s Global Integrated Management System (GIMS)
Main responsibilities
? Provide in-depth sales and customer analysis
? Gather and share market and competitor Intel and trends
? Build knowledge bank of market/customer/competitor data
? Identify and analyze customer and business opportunities
? Provide recommendations for focus areas that represent opportunities
? Develop measurements that support key business objectives
? Support deal proposal and tendering processes
? Review and ensure deal proposals, tender documents and legal agreements are in accordance with all applicable contracts and credit governance policies and processes
? Prepare customer sales/internal performance reporting presentations
? Facilitate successful implementation of sales processes and CRM usage
? Coordinate the implementation of sales initiatives & campaigns
? Administrative support for the Sales organization in the Area
Accountabilities
The position will be measured against:
? Work process and data accuracy
? Full customer analysis of existing and potential business
? Accurate and up to date customer related information in CRM
? Timely and complete creation of presentations and review of deal proposals, tender documents and legal agreements
? Agreed AOP and KPIs
Main Qualifications
? Master degree, preferably within economics or business administration
? Min. 2 year work experience from consulting, sales, marketing or finance related professions
? Analytical and structured with commercial mind-set
? Proven communication skills and a good command of the English language (verbal and written)
? Ability to get a cross a complex analysis in a simple way
? IT literate, with extensive experience from working with excel, MS office, CRM systems etc.
? Accurate, precise and systematic nature
