Position Summary:
The Manager, Business Development (Technology Sales) is responsible for developing, implementing and achieving the annual and quarterly Technology business sales plans and associated sales budgets for the designated region. He/She will work closely with members of the Technology Business leadership team in the development of strategic growth plans for sale of Technology licenses and associated services in the region. He/She will develop and maintain close alignment with other regional sales management or sales groups from other KBR businesses and affliates.
The Manager, Business Development Manager (Technology Sales) ensures compliance at all times with KBR code of business conduct.
Responsibilities:
·Regional Technology Sales Quota: Is responsible to achieve the Regional Technology Sales Quota as established at the beginning of the year with the Director, Business Development (Technology Sales).
·Regional Sales Strategy, Sales Planning: Provides input to the Global Technology leadership team and other KBR regional sales groups in developing a 3-Year sales growth strategy and associated yearly sales plans.
·Customer Management: Responsible for implementing and developing regional account management and where appropriate strategic account management programs for technology clients ensuring that these programs are fully aligned with existing KBR programs and standards.
·Sales Operations, Proposals and Marketing Support: Responsible for technology sales forecasting, technology sales pipeline management and co-ordinating technology proposals for regional clients. Responsible for regional competitor analysis and regional customer analytics required for yearly updates to strategic growth plans.
·Alignment with other KBR Regional Sales: Participates with other KBR regional sales in developing and maintaining consistencies across sales both with respect to customer interaction and with respect to KBR internal systems, processes and tools. Maintains at all time behaviours from Technology Sales which aligns with overall KBR goals and objectives.
·Compliance: Maintains full compliance with KBR code of business conduct. Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Proactively directs continuous improvement efforts in the areas of risk reduction and the elimination of potential hazards.
·Measurement and Rewards: Responsible for quarterly technology sales quotas and other strategic objectives as established by Director, Business Development (Technology Sales).
Prerequisites:
·Proven sales performer with experience selling Technology and / or Engineering services to senior management levels in Regional Accounts.
·Experience in selling into the Upstream and Downstream Hydrocarbon Processing Industries.
·Experience selling Process Technology or related technical offerings where purchase decision are made at senior management levels.
·Degree in Engineering / Science (Technical Discipline), MBA preferred.
·Excellent written and oral communication skill in English.
·Capable of multi-tasking efficiently, regional travel of up to 50%.
