The candidate must be experienced b2b sales servicing the logistics industry. Rich logistics industry clients and/or network are a big plus.

Here's the JD:
Responsibilities
1. Develop strategies and plans for generating business at OEMs and End Users to reach the annual quota, growing company share at both existing customers as well as most wanted accounts.
2. Develop the start-up strategy to position company for rapid growth in the area of Mobile Terminals, Life Science OEM sales, and Airport Baggage Handling.
3. Provide an accurate sales forecast based on sales funnel and data.
4. Conduct high level visits to accounts to close business.
5. Negotiate pricing and terms and conditions for large solution sales.
6. Work closely with the services manager to insure excellent post-sales project execution and project hand off.
7. Provide feedback to the business units for their product roadmaps.
8. Provide input to marketing for campaigns to generate leads.
9. Coordinate activities with global counterparts in Europe and Asia.
Requirements
1. Proven track record of sales performance in the Logistics / Material Handling Industry.
2. Experience selling at a high level within organizations.
3. Industry expertise in the Auto-ID space.
4. Knowledge and experience working with Customer Relationship Management software to manage business.
5. Uses defined sales process to deliver desired results on a consistent basis.
6. Experience working with installation and service teams to deliver turn-key solutions.
7. Ability to work independently is required.
8. Technical Degree and 10 to 15 years equivalent work experience.
9. Proven sales experience and track record for selling into organizations where engineering is a key decision maker.
