Job Functions
The Sales development Manager will lead the development of a District heating and cooling market strategy and related objectives, channel development plans, and drive focus in the sales teams to address sales opportunities.
The manager will work with all DH area sales managers to develop new business model and action plan to drive more sales, and follow up the plan and secure the plan is executed in an efficient way; monitoring the sales results and pipelines and take the necessary extra actions if needed to drive for more results.
The manager will also work with BD to find new opportunity both in product , technology and biz model in whole DE market.
The manager will lead application team and will report to the sales head in District Energy Dep.
Major Tasks include, but not limited to:
Drive identification of new market opportunities .This cover new application of existing products as well as identification of new area ,customers and channels, new biz model in exiting market and new market.
Drive development of new areas, cities, customers and channels This covers early exploration and assessment of market opportunities, define go-to-market strategy, campaign design, and leads generation for sales employees to execute
Drive new product launches in close cooperation with BD department. Responsibility include commercial sales planning, execution through sales employees and follow up and evaluation of launches
Dealer development. This covers conceptualizing how we develop our dealers in a systematic and structured way, e.g. defining our dealer concept, defining competence development needs, defining how we can support with business development
Drive major marketing campaign design from a commercial perspective, where BD-Marketing will focus more on the marketing execution perspective
Drive application and products training for DE sales employees and new sales partners. This includes working closely with BD to always be up to date on latest products and applications relevant to DE, defining training needs for sales employees, design effective training programs and deliver effective training
Maintain product knowledge, competitive and industry knowledge to support sales strategy development and execution
Collect new product idea and cooperate with BD to identify possibility
Support DE Sales head do annual business planning. This covers setting priorities, defining major campaigns, and coordinate marketing activities with BD&Marketing
Support dealer network development in close cooperation with DE Sales head and area sales managers. This covers identification of provinces/cities where we need new/replace existing dealers as well as supporting area sales managers with tools to assess dealer candidates
Support DE Sales head in defining and deploying methods and tools to manage sales effectively (sales excellence journey)
