ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Implement Distributor Toolkit for all Water Quality Greater China channel partner screening, risk assessment and management.
b. Track adherence to compliance policies and programs and effective use of compliance tools; advise business partners for required diligence and application in terms of permissible gifts, entertainment, customer trips, marketing events and other commercial activities.
c. Drive continuous improvement of compliance tools and other standard work involving compliance policies and programs to support business growth while mitigating compliance risks.
d. Assist the Finance team in developing self-audit questions and protocols to test compliance with compliance policies and programs.
e. Maintaining records of compliance training, investigations, and related activities.
f. Other special projects as assigned by WQ China Chief Legal Counsel.
REQUIREMENT FOR THIS POSITION:
Bachelor degree or above in law, finance or accounting.
2-3 years work experience in legal, corporate compliance or internal control functions in legal/accounting firm or MNCs.
Familiar with compliance culture and PRC laws and regulations
Deep understanding of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (anti-corruption and anti-bribery), trade compliance, antitrust laws
Commercial awareness of business environment
Able to work both independently and as part of a team to resolve complex matters in a responsive way
Proficient in Microsoft Offices applications (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent in both written and oral English
