Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Lead the overall leadership of transportation and I&E team, manage day to day operation.
2. Formulate transportation network strategy, create and improve related processes.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams e.g. logistics, customer service, product management, finance, sales/marketing to achieve company target..
4. Escalate transportation and I&E performance, resolve issues to satisfy customer service level.
5. Drive freight cost down, provide professional I&E solution and keep high efficient I&E process
6. Performs ad-hoc analyses as needed.
7. Develop team’s capabilities and skills to reach market leading level; establish stronger wining and supportive team spirit.
8. Other task as assigned by manager
Preferred Education & Experience:
– Bachelor’s Degree required in International Trade, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or equivalent along with 8 to 10 years of related experience.
– Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain Management fundamentals, including I&E, transportation, DC operations, purchasing.
– 3+ years supervisory experience
– Demonstrated experience in driving results through a diverse set of business processes and problem solving
– Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration within team, with business partners, and with cross-functional stakeholders.
– Systemic thinking and problem solving. Ability to influence decisions with teams without direct management responsibility.
– Demonstrated ability to multitask, quickly learn and become competent in, and effectively apply new skills.
– Financial acumen, with a focus on understanding the cost/benefit of varying solutions.
– Proficient in Excel and Access or other database and reporting tools, Exposure to SAP and BW desirable.
– Ability to foster, manage and leverage relationships at varying levels internally & externally up to the executive level.
