Knowledge Profile
· Major in Mechanical or Plastics engineering
· Interpretation of 2D and 3D design
· Familiar with 2D formats, ".dwg", ".dxf" and 3D" iges "," model "," catPart "," Vis View"
· Interpretation of Mold Flow's simulation reports
· Minimum 5 years working related experience in a mould manufacturing company or Injection moulding
Mold design review
Supplier follow-up
Injection trial set up
General project management
factory in automotive sector.
· Language: Fluent in English
· Desirable experience:
Back injection moulding with fabric;
· Graining process
· Solving Problems Technology;
· Design of Experiments (DOE).
 Main Activities
 Must be able to work on own initiative as well as in a group
 Clarify doubts about the "General Specification" and procedures of GA to the suppliers
 Evaluate mold project and drawings
 Verify feasibility of mold and product
 Validate cost of moldmaker offers
 Breakdown of hours of machining operations;
 Experience in Hotrunners with sequential valve gating;
 Follow up the robot hand grip construction;
 Follow up the quality gauge and checking fixture construction.
 Follow and evaluate the moulds construction activities at supplier plant
 Follow up and reports
 Make action plans for crisis resolution
 Define and attend injection mold trials
 Operate injection machines is an asset
