JOB TITLE: Lab Supervisor
LOCATION NAME: Pinghu, China
REPORTS TO: Engineering manager
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principle Accountabilities:
1. Make budget for the lab and establish a new reliability lab in accordance with the schedule
2. Give hand to engineer to proceed lab facility ‘s type selection and procurement as well as installation and commissioning work
3. Responsible for all facility of lab smoothly running and well management
4. Ensure all the lab job can be carried out smoothly ( validation test ,mass product audit ,type test and so on )
5. Ensure maintenance and calibration of lab equipments
6. In charge of the Measurement system analysis
7. Control test cost
8. Communicate with US or Europen lab to deal with the problem when necessary.
9. Summarize test data and lead benchmark job if needed .
10. Develop test equipment and improve test method
11. Test outsourcing contact and follow up
12. Gauge and fixture management
13. Responsible for lab safety work 5 S and so on
14. Responsible for quality system /environment system(ISO9001/TS16949/ISO14001 and so on ) of lab related job and lab certification (ISO/IEC 17025) job .
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum requirements include a BS in Engineering, with an engineering and/or scientific background.
2. At least 3 years lab analysis operation work with minimum two years leading experience in lab
3. Be familiar with hardness tester ,tensile test ,projector etc. operation, and be capable to find the root cause from the data
4. Be familiar with the calibration work of the related facility and lab system
5. Well professional background of metallurgy or mechanical
6. Be familiar with SPC , MSA , DOE and know APQP
7. Fluent English reading and writing, communication with English is a must.
8. Unexpected travel required while supplier has measurement issue .
