Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain the product line to meet objectives of the business plan. Manages the product through the establishment and on-going maintenance of Passivation Product Plans.
2. Direct product formulations, specifications, operations requirements, and life-cycle recommendations.
3. Provide technical support to the sales force, handle all technical product-related problems referred from the field, and work closely with marketing and sales/key account management.
4. Manage the process of product development between customer and technical centre, and day to day activities of Technical Service Support in close co-operation with the Sales Team.
5. Understand customer needs, translating the objective to the technical centre.
6. Co-ordinate with other functions (local labs, manufacturing, purchasing) to determine and establish technical feasibility and product cost as input for the final offer.
7. Identify new opportunities and accounts in the targeted market and establishing programs and relationships to create product and service demand.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor Degree with specific knowledge of Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Engineering.
2. Experienced in a technical management position and has process knowledge in the Steel industry.
3. As a technical expert, is able to understand and to solve technical process related problems.
4. Be fluent in English (verbal and writing).
5. Have the ability of Effectively Communication, Project Management, Influence, and Problem Solving.
