The Operation Manager – Qingdao AM Logistics Hub is responsible for the management and smooth operation of Brembo AM Qingdao logistics hub in terms of the businesses of import & export, inventory control, order fulfillment, and 3rd party operation management (3PL warehousing, packing and coating). The target is to keep the service level of APAC logistics hub can sufficiently meet the increasing customer requirement both of the China/ Asia Pacific market and AM global market (EU and NA) with the benchmark of industry and competition. This role is the primary owner of the delivery of QD logistics KPI.
Main responsibilities:
1. Build up and perfect the operation flows of QD logistics hub including the order flow, import and export flow; warehouse management systems (inbound, outbound, packing/ marking, quality inspection, coating, etc.) and distribution procedures.
2. Manage import & export activities, stock control and management, order fulfillment and 3PL management in China. Implement KPI's to drive increased performance in warehousing and forwarding operations.
3. Monitor 3PL supplier’s performance and continuously improvement.
4. Manage production plan and fulfillment of outsourced coating activity to make sure the output can always match the fast increasing of demand.
5. Analyze warehouse capacity, storage efficiency, container utilization and truck utilization, drive down total landed costs and improve service level for China, Asia Pacific and international customers (including intercompany customers).
6. Manage distribution and logistics initiatives and programs, including logistics systems design, deployment, issues resolution, support and enhancement to continuously improve QD operation efficiency.
7. Manage materials procurement daily operations (PO to suppliers) according to purchase contract and business requirement. Monitor supplier performance and work closely with purchase department to improve supplier performance.
8. Improve the customer service level to enable quick response to customers’ requirements.
Requirements:
? Bachelor degree or above, major in logistics or business management
- ? Minimum 10 years of experience with logistics working and 5 years of logistics management, familiar with automotive aftermarket environment is a plus
- ? Demonstrated strong capability in managing 3PL's performance
- ? Good knowledge in warehouse management and shipping process
- ? Good knowledge in logistics cost management and freight management
- ? Good knowledge in Customs regulations
- ? Good knowledge in ERP (AX preferred)
- ? Data Analysis skill strongly preferred
- ? High ability in problem solving
- ? Logical and systematic thinking
- ? Good English and communication skills
