职位描述：
I. Tasks / activities:
- Development of new colour shades under laboratory and sales projects and their implementa-tion at the customer
- Product service and maintenance regarding
? the optimisation and development of formulations
? process optimisation
? applications engineering
? the consideration of environmental and occupational safety aspects
? efficiency optimisation
? support in the correction and reprocessing of defective batches
? creation of colour shades
- Answering of customer requests in coordination with the superior and the sales department
- Measurement of colour samples
- Measurement of colour differences
- Compilation of measurement reports
- maintenance of auxiliary data banks
- Training of both staff members and customers
- Measurement of standardising colouring
- Maintenance and calibration of measuring instruments
- General administrative tasks in the lab
- Assistance in adjusting and reprocessing defective batches
- Management of master samples

II. Knowledge / skills required of a Lab Technician
- College/university degree in chemistry
- More than 3 years’ work experience in paint industry
- Sense of responsibility and flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent analytical and creative ability
- Good communication skill
- Teamwork spirit
