Major Responsibilities:

Find and select new supplier with both good quality and competitive price, audit new supplier with SQA team

Send RFQ to supplier, release new drawings & specs to supplier, negotiate the price and commercial term with supplier.

Develop new samples, including pattern and tooling, follow up the delivery and quality of the samples.

Meet the cost saving target for certain commodities

Responsible for technical communication between Carraro Italian engineering and supplier

Complete sourcing stratagem for new project

Solve the quality problem together with SQA team to reduce the risk from supplier side

Support supplier to improve the productivity in order to reduce the cost

Collecting valuable information from supplier side to ensure good cooperation with supplier (5%)

Support logistics and visiting supplier no less than 50% of total work time to ensure project launching successfully

Key Competencies:

Familiar with casting or machining or gear cutting commodities.

Strong character and strong communication capability with team and suppliers.

Hard working and good team work spirit

Take responsibility with pleasure and dedicate for Company.

Good English capability in both oral and written.

Education and Experience:

Mechanical engineering at Bachelor level;

Minimum 5 years overall professional experience in foreign investment company and at least 3 years at purchasing area. Has the common knowledge of ISO9000/TS16949;
