SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:

· Work with Site SHE leader to support VS/DC team to improve safety processes and overall safety performance. Interface with Engineering to support design - in safety principals for new equipment or processes (i.e.: Industrial Hygiene, Engineering for Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Purchasing, etc)

· Coordinate with the Division and Corporate personnel, and tracing the implementation of company's policies and procedures

· Collect SHE data and prepare document in compliance with regulatory agencies and authorities Administer Health & Safety program

· Documents and records collect and control in compliance with SHE system, such as ISO14001, OHSA18001 and so on.

· Support SHE leader to evaluate and analyze the job hazard and potential risks of injury or occupational illness in VS/DC. Carry out the related measures to prevent the job hazard and occupational illness; Evaluate and analyze the risks in environment protection, waste treatment, security, anti-fire and related safety aspects and carry out related measures; Evaluate, analyze and creating the suitable working environment for producing lines, offices and so on according to the ergonomic theory.

· Assist Site SHE Leader and functional supervisor in setting short and long term safety initiatives and establishing corrective action plans.

· Conduct reviews of new equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics specifications. Keep Ergo program records and tracing the improvement of the activities with high ergo risk in VS

· Attend Safety Observation Tours and tracing the corrective action as required to improve and enhance process.

· Take actions to track and prevent the Group incident from happening in Qingdao Plant.

· Coordinate and/or conduct training programs

· Support SHE Leader to dispose hazard waste as regulatory/Group required .

· Attend related SHE meeting.

EXPERIENCE:

More than 1 year work experience, OHSAS System internal auditor certification, is preferred

PROFILE:

· Bachelor or Graduate Degree from recognized college or university in Engineering discipline or related discipline

· About 2-5 years of practical experience in occupational health & safety (OHS) &environmental program experience, including knowledge of industry management

· Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, 5S and concepts of Industrial Safety and health;

· Success in at least one OHS functional position;

· A sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to OHS and environmental issue management;

· Proven ability to work harmoniously within a team environment

Preferred:

· A working experience of OHS computer information systems is Preferred

· A thorough knowledge and understanding of China's OHS and environmental legislation is preferred;
