Seeking an innovative and motivated professional to lead our Formulation Development department. This position oversees and directs all aspects of formulation research for development compounds from the preclinical stage through to technology transfer with an emphasis on oral solid dose. Overall departmental responsibilities include dosage form design including the application of various technologies, manufacturing process development, clinical supply manufacturing, scale up and technology transfer. Should demonstrate and apply in depth knowledge and skill with an understanding of required interactions with related disciplines; should be knowledgeable with respect to CMC regulatory expectations for pharmaceutical development and current with emerging technologies and able to apply those technologies to dosage form design. Responsible for overall department strategy and resources to ensure project timetables are maintained.

Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent is required; Ph.D. with ten years' experience in oral solid dosage form development is desirable. Proficient in cGMP's and familiar with regulatory expectations of CMC sections of regulatory dossiers.
