Main Duties of the Jobholder

Manage the day-to-day tax compliance matters for the company.

Assist with national and international tax planning issues.

Assist with research/input for major/sensitive transactions.

Manage relationships with tax advisors.

Direct the administrative activities in the Finance & Accounting Division.

Ensure adherence to Area/Division and corporate directives, policies and procedures.

Approve and establish procedures necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and service.

Direct internal audit program of Area/Division.

Direct the development, analysis and interpretation of statistical and accounting information to facilitate the bidding of the work, monitoring work in progress, and appraising operating results in terms of cost, budgets, policies of operations, trends and increased profit possibilities.

Advise Area/Division and Corporate management as to domestic and foreign tax consequences of various actions.

Recommend methods of reducing tax expense.
