This position reports to the Division Production Engineer and is responsible for providing engineering services and ensure compliance with job specifications as well as to coordinate material flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs material take-off and checks material recap
- Orders material for job and coordinates delivery to ensure that material will be on hand to meet production schedule 
- Checks and interprets drawings; corrects errors on drawings before fabrication
- Relays information between customer, engineering department and field; prepares job schedule for Company operating personnel and establishes fabrication and erection sequence
- Makes progress reports to the customer and his representatives
- Performs periodic quality control checks
- Supervises loadouts and prepares completion reports
- Performs manhour analysis
- Assists operating personnel in reading welding x-rays, x-ray reports or weld symbols
- Ensures availability of production materials
- Monitors information relevant to the achievement of the production program
- Liaises with Company departments and provides daily engineering service, including interpretation of drawings, specifications and other job requirements and ensurs that job requirements are met
REQUIREMENT
- University graduate in Engineering or related disciplines
- 5 - 7 years experience in production engineering
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
