In August 2005, renowned US based enterprise Chang International, Inc. invested tens of millions of US dollars to build a state-of-the-art plant on a over 30 acres campus in Qingdao of Shandong Province in China. The new plant has a capacity of finished products over tens of thousands metric tons, and has been approved for export to North America and EU, and certificated for HACCP, BRC, MSC, ISO9001 and other products quality standards.
The main business of Chang International is centered on processing and sales of wild caught deep sea species, including Halibut, Salmon, Pacific/Atlantic Cod, Alaskan Pollock, Atlantic Pollock, King Crab, Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, Lobster, Scallop, with over 100 different premium quality seafood items.
Ocean Gala, an internationally registered trademark owned by Chang International, has become a leading seafood brand in the US and Canadian markets, and also penetrated the major markets of dozens countries / regions in the world, including EU and Japan. Today Chang International has become a major global seafood producer and supplier.
